Give & Go
Soccer · Riverdale Rockets · 3 beats
Everyone in position. Maya has the ball at halfway.
Meet the positions
A gentle intro before the drills: tap a position and that player lights up along with the part of the field they look after.
Tap a player or a position name to see where they play.
Club rules
Every club has its own rules — fair play, ice time, parent sideline behaviour. The coach can add them here so families see them next to the drills.
Photo or scan (JPG/PNG), Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF — one file or several.
Preview only — files stay in this browser and nothing is uploaded. In the real app the coach's rules would be stored privately and shared with the team's parents.
Getting the family in
No passwords for kids, no accounts for little ones. The parent holds the keys — a QR code the whole family can use.
1 · Parent signs in
The parent opens the team page and shows this code — no password to type, nothing to remember.
2 · Kid opens it on their phone
Point the phone camera at the code and it opens watch mode: drills play, positions light up, and their own avatar is there — but they can't change the roster, numbers, or club rules.
- Watch every drill and replay it
- Tap through Meet the positions
- No account, no password, no personal details for the child
3 · Their own access, only if you say so
Older kids who build their own drills can get an invite — but only when the parent taps to extend one. The child never signs up alone.
Demo preview — the code and link are samples. When accounts go live, each family's code will be private to their team.
The coach sets
- First name + last initial — never a photo, never a full name.
- The team color, so every jersey reads as one team.
- Jersey numbers, so you can follow who's who while the drill plays.

The kids pick
Five choices, all cartoon — skin, hair, eyes, expression, and glasses or no glasses.
No photos are taken or uploaded — a child's look is built from these picks alone.
Between practice, with a parent
Basic plays a parent can run with their child at home — five minutes, one ball or puck, no coaching experience needed. The same ideas the team drills on this page teach, sized for the driveway or the backyard.
Give & Go at home
Pass to your child, run around a chair, get the ball back. Teaches: pass, then move — the heart of Give & Go.
Wall one-touch
Soccer against a garage wall: receive, touch, return. Ten each way. Teaches first touch and looking before receiving.
Tape-to-tape passes
Hockey in socks on kitchen tile: call a name, pass flat, stick out the target. Teaches calling for the puck like the Breakout Pass drill.
Tip for parents: ask “what did you notice?” instead of “did you do it right?” — the app is built around how kids think, not a test.
Team roster · 12 players
Coach: tap 5 players for this week's drills, then lock them in. They stay until next Monday.
🔒 Coaches only: stats & game sheet
Hidden from families and kids' watch mode. Goals, assists, positions and starters only.
